Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library relies on the support of our community volunteers.
Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library specifically requests volunteers to support the following areas of need:
managing membership list and planning member events.
(Tuesdays, 9:30AM - 11:00AM):
We regularly transport books to and from the Hermosa Beach Public Library at this time, and we could use help packing, moving, and unpacking the books.
BOOK DONATION PROCESSING
During Days of Bookstore Operations
We receive hundreds of donated books which must be inspected and filed before either shelving at the bookstore or re-donating to one of our worthy community partners. We can use help receiving and processing these donations.
