An open house at the Hermosa Beach Library, 550 Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, was held on Saturday, September 26, to commemorate the Friends of the Library’s golden anniversary. Past Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library presidents were honored, refreshments were served, and the Friends announced a surprise donation to benefit the library and its patrons.
