An open house at the Hermosa Beach Library, 550 Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, on Saturday, September 26, will commemorate the Friends of the Library’s golden anniversary. Hours will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Past Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library presidents will be honored, refreshments will be served, and the Friends will announce a surprise donation to benefit the library and its patrons.
